Pink Baby Shower

Baby Shower

It's June and that means that Facebook and Instagram feeds are full of fun and clever announcements, gender reveals, and invitations to baby showers. If you'll be the happy host of a baby shower, never fear! We've put together some of the best, prettiest, and easiest ideas here to help you host a shower that the mom-to-be and the guests will all love. For little girls, classic pink looks gorgeous and sophisticated when paired with gray, and that's the base to get our party plan started!

Get the most bang for your buck by having one focal point for the shower. A table with dessert and delicious punch is always a good idea! One way to really draw attention to it and make any room feel instantly festive is by placing a "Baby Shower" banner above it, flanked on each side with Pink and Gray Paper Lanterns. These have a chic and delicate feel, and can double either as a prize for one of the games or as a gift for the mom to be to place in the nursery. Not only will they be a beautiful decoration, she'll smile when she recalls the shower every time she sees them!

Refreshments

Cake is the classic party fare, but these days cupcakes are becoming even more popular. Perfectly portioned and easily handled no matter the seating or table arrangements, you definitely shouldn't rule them out when picking out which treats to serve.

One way to make hosting a shower less stressful is by doing some of the refreshments from scratch, and opting for store bought or specialty ordered for the rest. We love making drinks from scratch since they're easy but seem super special!

Our very favorite shower drink is this punch recipe, we love how it is an amazing base that's easily customized for everyone.

Perfect Baby Shower Punch

3 C Lemonade
3 C Cranberry Cocktail Juice
Optional: 1 oz vodka per 5 oz of punch, which can be added per glass instead of to the entire pitcher of punch.

To make a “Skinny” version, just use Newman’s Diet Lemonade and Ocean Spray’s 5 Calorie Cranberry Cocktail Juice

Garnish with frozen raspberries if you wish, cheers!

Games

No baby shower is complete without games! Here is a clever Nursery Rhyme Game that your guests won't have played a million times already!
